Confirmation forms are available at the back of the Church or from the Parish Office between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Students of St. Cecilia’s school will have registration packages available though the school.
Registration deadline is October 11, 2012. A mandatory registration/information meeting will be held on Thursday, October 11. 2012 at 7:45 p.m. in the church basement. One parent/guardian must attend this meeting. Classes will begin Sunday, October 14, 2012. The Confirmation Enrolment Ceremony will be held during the 11:00 a.m. Sunday mass on 14 October 2012.
First Communion and Reconciliation Program

First Holy Communion Program Assistant
If you are over the age of 21 years, like to work with children, and you like to obtain volunteer experience, or if you are a parent whose child will be attending the First Holy Communion this Fall and would like to assist, please call Sandra Niedra at the church office between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

St. Cecilia’s Marian Prayer Group
The weekly Marian Prayer Group has resumed in the church on Tuesday evening from 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
The teaching of the liturgy win way that our youngest members can understand, will resume again during the 11:00 a.m. masses. Children from J.K. though grade 2 are always welcome to attend. Parents or parishioners who are interested in assisting with the program are asked to contact Mitzi Pepall at (416)323-9377. New teachers are needed!

Bishop’s Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada
The Bishop’s Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada will be held the weekend of September 29 and 30, 2012. The money raised will be sent to our diocese, which will use the total amount collected to pay its annual contribution to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). This contribution is determined according to the per capita calculation that takes into account the number of Catholics in each diocese of Canada.
