Bishop Wayne Kirkpatrick will preside at a special Mass on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Basilica, 83 Power St., Toronto in celebration of the vocation and witness of these special men and women religious who are such a vital and important part of the life and ministry of the Church in our Archdiocese.  All are welcome to attend.

Thinking of a New Year’s Resolution?

Perhaps you are not thinking of a gym membership, or giving up on some vices of the past year, as a way to go forward in 2018!  Perhaps you are thinking how you might be able to give of your time and talents as a way to start a new journey in this new year!  Our parish is looking for new lectors, (readers), altar servers, and children liturgy leaders!  Training is provided!

LAST CHANCE: 2018 offertory envelopes are ready for pick-up at the back of the church!

Please ensure when picking up your box  that the label number and actual box number are the same when you pick up your new envelopes.  If not, please contact the office immediately so we can correct the error.  The numbered envelopes assist the office staff in recording your donations over the full year.  If making a larger donation to cover multiple Sundays you have missed, please put the donation in one envelope so as to make it easier for the office staff to record.  Once you begin to use your new 2018 envelopes, please discard all old 2017 offertory envelopes. New envelope users/parishioners and/or unregistered parishioners are requested to fill out a Parish Registration Form and return it to an usher to obtain offertory envelopes for 2018.

Pizza Sunday of Last Weekend!

Thank you to Maria and her dedicated crew of helpers for their hard work  and success last weekend!  And thank you to all those who came out and supported the event!  $1005 was raised for our Restoration Fund! Congrats to Sandra N. who won $105.00 in the 50/50 draw!

The call of the disciples is so familiar to us that we tend to miss the wonder of the disciples’ response, which was immediate and complete; they leave everything and follow Jesus. Can we do less if we feel that God is calling us to the priesthood, religious life or deaconate? If you think God is calling you to a Church vocation, call: Fr. Chris Lemieux, Vocation Director, Archdiocese of Toronto
