First Friday Eucharistic Adoration
This Friday, December 2nd, 2016

On the First Friday, our Parish celebrates Eucharistic Adoration immediately following the 9:05 a.m. Mass until 6:00 p.m.

“The worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass is of inestimable value for the life of the church. “

-Ecclesia de Eucharistia by Pope John Paul II

Please consider taking time out this Friday, December 2nd, in prayer and worship of the Eucharist.  For those who would like to schedule an hour to ‘keep watch’, signup sheets for specific time slots, can be found at the back of the church.

2017 offertory envelopes

2017 offertory envelopes are ready for pick-up at the back of the church!

If you are a new member of our parish, and have taken a numbered, unlabeled offertory box of envelopes, please follow a few steps to ensure that your donations will be properly recorded in 2017!

Please print your full name, address, and phone number  on the offertory envelope, when making your first 3-4, 2017, donations. This will ensure that the office staff correctly record your personal information, (to ensure you receive an income tax receipt at the end of the year.)

If you want to start your donations this year (2016), please place your donation in a regular envelope, and print your full name, address and envelope number on it! (Please do not use your 2017 offertory envelopes until next year!)

New envelope users/parishioners and/or unregistered parishioners are requested to fill out a Parish Registration Form and return it.

St. Cecilia’s Feast Day Mass and Celebration of November 22, 2016

Thank you to all those who assisted at the Special Mass, particularly  the priests who concelebrated the Mass with Father Joseph, our Associate Pastor, Father Dominic and Father Edward: to our Lector, Reyanne Achong, our Eucharistic Minister, Altar Servers and Ushers; to our Administrative Assistant, Sandra Niedra, for her help and support. Special thanks to Peter Treen, our organist, Don English, our cantor, and the combined talents of St. Cecilia’s Choir and Mosaic vocal ensemble under the direction of Gordon Mansell, which added to the beautiful celebration.  Sincere thanks to all of you who donated your time and talents in various ways to make our special Mass and  celebration a wonderful success: Ann Clough, Barbara Mankowski, Annette Beneditz, Janine Mitsuki, Carmen Rivero, Ann Rooney, Lorraine Ostafew, Angela Tung, Karen Stuss, Karen Bechtel, Vicky Attard, Frank Spiteri, Angelo Favretto, (GREAT WINE!), and Teame Gebreyesus, our church custodian.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Maria Ruccolo for all her hard work in the kitchen. Special thanks go to those who helped in the setting up and decorating of the hall, and to  those who donated delicious food and baked goods for the reception following the Mass,  particularly the Vietnamese Martyrs Parish for the donation of spring rolls.  Many thanks to each and everyone who assisted at and attended the Mass. May God bless you all abundantly for your commitment, dedication, hard work and love for Saint Cecilia!
