Feast of St. Cecilia Monday November 23 2015
9:05 AM: Regular morning mass
7:00 PM: Mass in celebration of the Feast of St. Cecilia
In honoring our patron saint of music, St. Cecilia’s School and Church Choirs will be participating in song during the Mass.
Our parish will be hosting an informal reception after the 7:00 PM mass in our church basement.
For those who would like to make a monetary contribution to the celebration, please take a St. Cecilia’s Feat day offertory envelope, which will be available at the back of the church in the weeks to come. For those who would like to contribute to the reception, a sign-up sheet can be found at the back of the church.
Everyone is invited to participate!
The Shepherds’ Trust
The Shepherds’ Trust ensures our priests can live their retirement years with dignity.
The Shepherds’ Trust collection will take place in all parishes in the Archdiocese during the weekend of November 7 and 8.
This fund does more than just support our priests in their twilight years; it represents a very tangible gesture of thanks for their blessings we have received. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
2016 Sunday Missals for Adults and Children
will be available for purchase in the vestibule of the church after all Masses.
The prices are as follows:
Adult Missal: $5.00 each
Children’s Missal: $10.00 each
(Your child can follow along during Mass, reading their Missal.)
Children’s Missals are limited in quantity and once sold out, will not be reordered.
St. Vincent De Paul Society ‘Christmas Star Program’
Once again , the St. Vincent De Paul Society is displaying a Christmas Tree in our Church, with dangling stars. Each star represents a gift that can be purchased for either a teen, (gift card), or family, (food gift card). Please take a star, and return it, with the appropriate gift card to one of our St. Vincent De Paul representatives, (donation box holders), after Masses,
by Sunday, December 6th, 2015.
Gift cards can be purchased at any major department store or pharmacy.
Food gift cards can be purchased at all major grocery stores.
Thank you for giving to those in our community who are less fortunate!
Christmas Cards and Cakes
As in previous years, during the months preceding the great “Feast of the Nativity of our Lour”, Right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign for Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses starting November 1st until December 20th. One of the most important fundraisers Campaign for Life Catholic does each year, is the sale of the delicious Christmas cakes. This helps to continue the work for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, supporting life at every stage.
Large cakes: $25.00
Small cakes: $15.00
