ALL SOULS’ DAY

A basket will be available at the base of the altar for your “All Souls’ Envelopes“. On the envelope provided with this bulletin, write the names of deceased family members and friends and enclose your offering.  Place envelopes in the basket.  The office staff will enter those listed on the envelopes into the “BOOK OF SOULS”.  The “BOOK OF SOULS” and the basket will remain at the altar for the entire month of November and those named therein will be prayed for at all Masses during the month of November.

First Friday Eucharistic Adoration, Friday November 6 2015

On the First Friday, our Parish celebrates Eucharistic Adoration immediately following the 9:05 AM Mass until 6:00 PM.

“The worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass is of inestimable value for the life of the church.” – Ecclesia de Eucharistic by Pope John Paul II

Please consider taking time out this Friday, in prayer and worship of the Eucharist. For those who would like to schedule an hour o “keep watch”, signup sheets for specific slots, can be found at the back of the church.

Feast of St. Cecilia Sunday November 22 2015

9:05 AM: Regular morning mass

7:00 PM: Mass in celebration of the Feast of St. Cecilia

In honoring our patron saint of music, St. Cecilia’s School and Church Choirs will be participating in song during the Mass.

Our parish will be hosting an informal reception after the 7:00 PM mass in our church basement.

For those who would like to make a monetary contribution to the celebration, please take a St. Cecilia’s Feat day offertory envelope, which will be available at the back of the church in the weeks to come.  For those who would like to contribute to the reception, a sign-up sheet can be found at the back of the church.

Everyone is invited to participate!

Coffee Sunday next Week!

Come downstairs next Sunday after the 9 and 11 AM masses and enjoy a cup of fresh coffee or tea, and some tasty treats.  Back by popular demand, Fair Trade coffee beans and chocolate will again be available for purchase! Donations of baked goods are welcome!

Christmas Cards and Cakes

As in previous years, during the months preceding the great “Feast of the Nativity of our Lour”, Right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign for Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses starting November 1st until December 20th. One of the most important fundraisers Campaign for Life Catholic does each year, is the sale of the delicious Christmas cakes. This helps to continue the work for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, supporting life at every stage.

Large cakes: $25.00
Small cakes: $15.00

Have you requested a box of offertory envelopes?

If you have requested offertory envelopes, and have not received them yet, or will be requesting them for the 2016 year, until you receive your box, please place your weekly donation into a visitor envelope or white envelope, writing your full name and address on the envelope. The office will be contacting you when your box of envelopes is ready for pick up. You can also ask an Usher to assist you with getting offertory envelopes.

Young Mens’ High School(Day) Retreat

The Office of Vocations is hosting a Young Mens’ High School(Day) Retreat at St. Augustine’s Seminary.  Providing time to pray and to interact and socialize with young seminarians who run the day.  Offering opprotunities for prayer, Mass, Adoration and confession.
