First Friday Eucharistic Adoration This Friday, December 5, 2014
On the First Friday, our Parish celebrates Eucharistic Adoration immediately following the 9:05 a.m. Mass until 6:00 p.m.

Please consider taking time out this Friday, December 5th, in prayer and worship of the Eucharist. For those who would like to schedule an hour to keep watch signup sheets for specific times slots, can be found at the back of the church.
The Oratory / Holy Family Church •1372 King Street West, Toronto, ON M6K 1H3 • 416-532-2879Saturday, December 6 – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.As usual the day will begin with a sung Mass at 10:00 a.m. (Priests will be in the confessionals at 9:30a.m.) The Fathers of the Oratory will give talks to adults, teenagers, and primary school children, and then everyone will come together in the church for the Rosary with meditations and music. There willbe plenty of opportunities to go to confession, and time to renew old acquaintances and make new ones during the informal lunch. The day ends with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 3:00 p.m.Baby-sitting on premises and lunch will be provided. There is no fee for the day but donations to coverthe cost of lunch will be much appreciated. Please let us know if you are coming and how many people will be coming with you (along with their ages). We need to know this in order to plan the lunch and baby-sitting. You may either call the Oratory or send an e-mail to email@example.com. White Elephant Sale Items required!
We are asking for NEW AND VERY GENTLY USED ITEMS for our White Elephant Sale this year. (No books,please.) (Perhaps this would be a great opportunity to clear your home of last year’s unused gifts! Items can be dropped off on the bench at the bottom of the stairs to the basement before or after morning Mass, anytime after6:00 p.m. Saturday, and before noon on Sundays. Please label your donations “For White Elephant”.

St. Vincent De Paul Society “Christmas Star Program”
Once again , the St. Vincent De Paul Society will be displaying a Christmas Tree in our Church, with dangling stars. Each star represents a gift that can be purchased for either a teen, (gift card), or family, (food gift card). Please take a star, and return it, with the appropriate gift card to one of our St. Vincent De Paul representatives, (donation box holders), after Masses, no later than December 14th, 2014 . Gift cards can be purchased at any major department store or pharmacy. Food gift cards can be purchased at all major grocery stores.
Christmas Cards and Cakes
As in previous years, during the months preceding the great “Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord”, right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses stating 2 November until 23 December. One of the most important fundraisers Campaign Life Catholic does each year, is the sale of the delicious Christmas cakes. This helps to continue the work for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, supporting life at every stage.
