Coffee Sunday Next Week!
Come downstairs and enjoy a cup of fresh coffee or tea, some goodies, and tasty samples of fair trade chocolate next Sunday 2 November 2014 after the 9:00 Am and 11:00 AM masses. Alternative Grounds coffee beans, fair trade chocolate anda variety of fair trade teas will be available for purchase. Donations of baked good are again welcomed.

All Souls’ Day
Beginning thsi weekend, in preparation for “All Souls’ Day”, a basket will be available at the base of the altar for your “All Souls’ Envelopes”. On the envelope, (available at the back of the church), write the names of deceased family members and friends and enclose your offering. Place envelopes in the basket. the office staff will enter those listed on the envelopes into the “Book of Souls”. The “Book of Souls” and the basket will remain at the altar for the entire month of November and those named therein will be prayed for at all Masses during the month of November.
Have you requested a Box of Offertory Envelopes?
If you have requested offertory envelopes, and have not received them yet, or will be requesting them for the 2015 year, until you receive your box, please place your weekly donation into a visitor envelope or white envelope, writing your full name and address on the envelope. The office will be contacting you when your box of envelopes is ready for pick-up.
Christmas Cards and Cakes
As in previous years, during the months preceding the great “Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord”, right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses stating 2 November until 23 December. One of the most important fundraisers Campaign Life Catholic does each year, is the sale of the delicious Christmas cakes. This helps to continue the work for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, supporting life at every stage.
Large cakes: $25.00
Small Cakes: $15.00
Cards: $8/10 pk.
What is New Beginnings?
It is a ministry dedicated to helping people who have suffered the loss of a loved one (through death, separation or divorce) make a NEW BEGINNING in life. To that end, we support Parish-based Bereavement Ministries, Parish Peer Support Groups, and we coordinate a series of Inspirational and Twilight Talks, as well as Day Retreats.
