St. Vincent De Paul Society ‘Christmas Star Program

Once again this year, the St. Vincent De Paul will be displaying a Christmas Tree in our Church, with dangling stars.  Each star represents a gift that can be purchased for either a teen (gift card), or family(food gift card).  Please take a star, and return it with the appropriate gift card to one of our St. Vincent De Paul representatives (donation box holders) after Masses no later than 8 December 2013.

Gift cards can be purchased at any major department store or pharmacy.  Food gift cards can be purchased at all major grocery stores.

Thank you for giving to those in our community who are less fortunate!

St. Cecilia’s Feast Day Celebrations

Thank you to all those who assisted at the Special Mass, particularly the priests who concelebrated the Mass with Father Joseph; to the Lector, Altar Servers, Ushers; to the children’s choir of St. Cecilia’s School and all their parents and those who attended to support them, to Peter Treen, our organist, and all the choir directors, choirs and musicians of the Mission of the Vietnamese Martyrs and St. Cecilia’s parishes for their beautiful music and singing.  Special thanks go to those who donated delicious food and baked goods and helped with the reception following the Mass. A huge thank you to the talented and creative volunteers who decorated the Hall so beautifully for the Reception.

Kudos to Frances McKee, Mary Partridge, Ann Clough, Barbara Mankowski, Janine Mitsuki, Lorraine Ostafew, Gabby Pillot, Ann Rooney, Maria Ruccolo, Sue De Rosa, Frank Spiteri, Jane & Angelo Favretto, Lina Geadah and Teame Gebreyesus, our church custodian, for organizing a beautiful celebration and reception! May God bless you all abundantly for your commitment, dedication, hard work, and love for St. Cecilia.
